I've been taking my two chihuahuas to this clinic for many years. I was always satisfied medically but thought that this is way too pricey and thus never recommended them publicly... Well, this year I decided to save some time and take my dogs to the vet closer to my house in Aventura. I thought i did my (google) research and ended up at bayshore clinic. There the same dental work was estimated at three times as much and the young and pretty doctor (probably an intern) has warned me about such likely possibilities as breaking a jaw (well, its so tiny and delicate and my dogs are so old after all...) and other interesting outcomes... When I warned dr Barbosa of being careful with a jaw he just laughed and asked how old was that dr I saw before... Thank god I came back to this clinic! My dogs are feeling wonderful and i paid $1300 instead of $3300 (likely to increase they noted...hehe). After this many years Im finally highly recommend this clinic!

Dr.Barbosa and his staff of merry ladies are amazing. They have a true family, down to earth vibe. Knowledgable, professional, and all cat lovers..... I love my dogs. Dogs are the pillar of amazingness .... But they got me to like cats.... I never thought the day would come... I brought my beloved Mi Nina here and they treated her like a royal princess. Dont waste time going anywhere else. I've been going to vets in south Florida with my family since I was a toddler. Now as an adult I can compare and say Barbosa and Crew are the best.

Dr. Barbosa is wonderful! He has been caring for our dog, Sparky, since 2010. Just recently, he removed several cysts from our dog using a laser all in one visit. Dr. Barbosa is up on the latest medical technology and is also compassionate and trustworthy.

Dr. Barbosa is one of the best veterinarians I have ever had, he truly cares for his patients ( 🐶&🐈). He's very good at what he does and you can just see the love he has for what he does. He came out to my house and put my dog down that was suffering so bad from cancer and the last thing he was worried about was his payment. I will recommend dr. Barbosa to anyone who wants their Pet in the care of a great veterinarian who is the best at what he does

My little Rudy is very sweet, but turns into a nasty little monster when he senses a vet. Dr Barbosa and his staff were absolutely professional and humane to my little guy and to me. I so much appreciate the whole experience after having been to several other animal hospitals in the area, what a relief to finally find the right place for my dog.

My puppy has been there since we got her and they have treated her like they themselves were the owners. I mean this in the best way. They show the kindness and attention needed to give anyone the confidence that they don't just see another number. My puppy enjoys going to the vet and being carried by Julia. Best in South Florida. I had a wonderful experience. Dr Barbosa was thorough, kind, and most of all knowledgeable. He did not overcharge me in anyway, he was fair which is extremely rare these days. His office staff was not overwhelming, it felt more like a family run business and he made me feel as if I was coming to his home for the first time, he even washed the towel that I brought with my dog. I highly recommend!!

Doctor Joe Barbosa is a wonderful veterinarian! He cares about his patients and clients. My cat was neutered, vaccinated and microchipped at the Animal Hospital of Hallandale. After the visit we got follow up call from caring staff. At the office visit Dr Barbosa also went over the diet plan and recommended flea and tick prevention and answered all my questions. Thanks to him my kitty is healthy and happy and so am I! I recommend this clinic to all my friends who have cats, dogs, rabbits and birds. Best place with affordable prices!
